fritzo who?
Congratulations you have come this far. So who the hell is Fritzopup or better yet what is he. Yes Fritzopup is a male dog, my cartooning has not yet evolved to where you may be able to differentiate between my animals on your own. Anyway Fritz is currently a figment of my imagination based on a pet puppy I had when I was younger. No we will not tell you how old we are...we just met!
Gotta give credit where credit is due. Fritz took his name from the R. Crumb character from the early 70's...yeah that's him on the right...good ol' Fritz The Cat. For those of you who have been around long enough you may remember 60's genius cartoonist Robert Crumb whose "Keep On Truckin" motif became symbolic of a generation. This rendition of Fritz The Cat looks really crazed but his personality was actually quite mellow and cool as he made his way through the turbulent times of his day dealing with all the issues confronting our generation.
To make a long story short, as a youth having seen the then "X" rated movie...shhh, Fritz became a cult hero for us. Upon the presentation of my first german sheppard puppy my friends and I named my pup Fritz and decided that one day we would start a business using the pup's likeness as our spokesdog. Although the Fritzopup character is still in his early development as a cartoon we decided we had better get the show on the road already. After all we are not getting any younger.
As time goes on Fritzopup will no doubt go through some changes.
